My pond is too far away from the house to run electricity to it and I thought long and hard about spending such a large amount on solar equipment which may not have worked, but I am really impressed and pleased with the results. I was not disappointed. Even on bright cloudy days this wonderful gadget stores up enough energy to pump air through the night.A thumbs up from me
